Revlon Spring 2014 Preview!

Revlon offers us a variety of berry, neon, and pastel shades for spring 2014.

Revlon 2014

Revlon rolled out a sneak peek of their spring 2014 collections during fashion week. It was a clever campaign that was premiered on Pinterest. They rolled it out and pinned pictures all through NYFW. You guys know how much I love this brand! I’m not super excited about the color story of the products, but I will definitely be giving them a shot. I love the pigments and the long lasting wear of the products, so I’ll probably find a few colors I love and stick with them. But, for all you ladies out there who love plum, burgundy, and nude colors…they’ve got something for all of you. They also had a few bright pops of pink, blue, purple, and gold that could be quite appealing. I think I’m going to go for mostly berry shades to compliment some products I already have.

I am feeling the nail shades they showed us in the preview. If there is something lacking in the facial makeup shades, they more than make up for it in the nail lacquer department. They have bright shades, pearl shades, and sparkling shades all in great spring colors, neons, and pastels.

The lip shades excited me as well. I don’t think I can quite pull off an orange lip but I do think it looks fab! Prabal Gurung, Rag & Bone, and Creatures of the wind splashed that orange lippie all over the runways. The Colorburst in matte and glossy shades will bring some interesting colors for us next spring.

I’m looking forward to these 2014 products because I know that if I can find some colors that fit me, they will have great pigmentation, they will probably provide day long wear, and they will not compromise my skin care. I will definitely be doing a review when the product debut.
